The Two Dinars Initiative (under the umbrella of the International Islamic Charitable Organization) is an initiative that was established in 2010 to support education around the world. By harnessing the talents and energies of youth to serve the community. As this age group is considered one of the most capable of giving, and the most influential and responsive to all events surrounding various fields, they are the leaders of the future, and the helpers of the nation's renaissance.
The idea of the project came to implement charitable projects that support education around the world with the hands of young students in the study stage, whether high school or university students. This stage of life is characterized by a lot of vitality, activity and enthusiasm for work and achievement, so that this category has an important role in charitable work and support the implementation of charitable projects in various ways and with many talents.
The project was launched on 10/10/2010 at Kuwait University. During 10 years, we made a youthful footprint in 9 different countries through 15 educational programs and 4 Nour Boubyan Eye campaigns and the Al-Dareen Quran campaign. We were able to reach from two dinars to 1.5 million Kuwaiti dinars within 10 Years.
Since the launch of the project to this day, we have received positive reactions and acceptance of the implementation of this idea in the corridors of the university, where this was done for the first time, which is the introduction of a charitable body within the walls of the university in the name of a permanent and charitable project from and to students, and with the approval of the higher administrations of Kuwait University and the Public Authority for Applied Education And training, and an official approval from the Ministry of Affairs in the State of Kuwait, in cooperation with student institutions and university unions.
